Securing Worship Places Duty Of Interior Ministry , Policemen
Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hamad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah has stressed that securing the worship places is the responsibility of the ministry and its securitymen.
In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department confirmed the minister personally looked into the level of readiness of mosques to receive worshippers in the last 10 days of Ramadan.
He was accompanied by Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahd, Assistant Undersecretary for Mosques Affairs in the Ministry of Awqaf Dr Walid Al-Shuaib and a number of the security officials.
He then praised the security preparedness, stressed the importance of coordination between different security departments, and called on them to work as one team.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah issued a decision to amend an article in ministerial decree number 81/1976 in relation to executive traffic regulations.
In a press statement, the Interior Ministry disclosed the decision covers Item Three of Article 88 of law number 81/1976 regarding the issuance of motorcycle driving license.
The decision stipulates that those applying for motorcycle driving license should not be less than 18 years old.
