Security Command Arrested A Kuwaiti Man And Seized 14 Narcotic Pills

A patrol team attached to Capital Security Command arrested a Kuwaiti man in a disoriented state in Keifan area, and seized 14 narcotic pills in his possession, says Al-Seyassah. A security source said the officers accompanied by their counterparts from Weapons Detectives Unit mounted a surprise checkpoint in the aforementioned area and observed the suspect was not in his normal condition.

The officers discovered he was wanted for financial related offense during verification of his status, and subsequent search inside his car revealed the carefully concealed drugs. Meanwhile, security operatives from Ahmadi Command arrested a motorist found sleeping inside his car in Sabahiya area when they discovered he was at a complete loss.

A sachet containing some herbs and two pieces of cigarette stuffed with drugs were seized from his possession before referring him to the concerned authority for legal action. In an unrelated incident, security operatives from Ahmadi Command apprehended a Kuwaiti man in possession of hashish, 4 cans of ruche, 24 illicit pills and 8 tablets of Lyrica. He was referred to drug prosecution. And, security operatives from Farwaniya Command nabbed three Asians under the influence of intox
