Students ‘rejected’ From Internal Scholarships Can Request Review
Secretary General of Private Universities Council Dr. Habib Abul has called on the students who were ruled out from the internal scholarship plan to visit the General Secretariat of the council this week to fill the form for reconsideration of their applications, reports Al- Nahar daily.
In a press statement, Dr Abul said the ministry will reconsider all the applications submitted in order to either meet the students’ desire or find alternate options with the aim of ensuring their admission through internal scholarships according to the required specializations.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Culture Office in Cairo has issued new instructions to Kuwaiti students studying in Egypt to present their complaints related to exams and their grievances about the exam results only to the office in order to protect the students from being victims of fraud, reports Al-Rai daily. An official from the office said dealing with private offices could expose students to fraud and could land them in huge problems, affirming that the office is the only facility where students can resort to and where their complaints will be handled properly and their interests will be protected.
