Students Who Commit Malpractices During Exams Transferred To Other Schools

08 March 2018 Kuwait

Certain secondary schools of some educational zones are the preferred examination centers for students who commit malpractices during exams, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that a process was recently noticed to transfer students to those schools, as they provide exceptional facilities for students to cheat during exams especially the final exams of grade 12.

A sudden hike in the number of students in one school from 400 to 700 was observed even though the capacity of that school does not match this recent hike in the number of students.

The sources revealed that a number of MPs visited the director of an educational area to use “wasta” for the transfer of students who wish to change schools, adding that the ministry is aware that the administrations of some schools cannot be trusted enough due to which the ministry is obligated to take a decision for reshuffling the managers and assistant managers of some secondary schools. Meanwhile, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Affairs Fatima Al-Kandari revealed that the schools’ decree has been activated.
