Truffles Collection From Border Areas Forbidden

Director- General of the General Department for Land Border Security, Major-General Faisal Al-Issa has issued a circular forbidding collection of truffl es from the northern and southern borders of the country, reports Al-Anba daily. He said those who violate the contents of this circular will be held legally accountable for his actions.

According to Circular No. 1/2019 which has been issued upon orders of the Assistant Undersecretary for Border Security Affairs, Major-General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, it is strictly forbidden to collect truffl es from the northern and southern borders because these areas fall within the ‘no trespassing’ zone since they are considered the military and security territory.
