Turkish Tv Channel Was Mistakenly Published South Korean Presidents Picture With Murdered Filipino Maid
Seoul has lashed out at a Turkish TV channel for mistakenly publishing the picture of South Korean President side by side the picture of a murdered Filipino maid in Kuwait whose body was found in a freezer.
Although the report has been taken out and a formal letter of apology was sent to the South Korean government earlier this month, South Korea is demanding a public apology.
South Korean Foreign Ministry is demanding that the channel air a public apology and provide “assurances to prevent similar accidents from happening in the future.” The Turkish Show TV channel had raised eyebrows in South Korea after it featured the photographs of President Moon Jae-in in the wrong context.
