Two Expatriates Held Over Mosque Photos

Two expatriates of the same Arab nationality were arrested in two separate incidents for taking pictures of mosques. The second first suspect was arrested while he was filming a mosque in Rumaithiya. He claimed that he was taking a photograph of a nearby ‘No Parking’ sign. The suspect was arrested in Mishref area and securitymen found various photos of mosques in his cell phone. He revealed that he usually take photographs of the mosques he visit on Fridays.
