Unidentified Young Man Arrested For Kidnapping A Kuwaiti Woman

An unidentified young man has been arrested and referred to the Criminal Investigations Department for allegedly kidnapping and holding hostage a 30-year-old Kuwaiti woman in a suburb of Kabad, reports Al-Rai daily.

It has been reported when the victim’s 32-year-old sister complained to the Jahra police that her sister has been kidnapped and held at a location in Kabad, police rushed to the area but the suspect holding the woman refused to let her go.

In light of the complaint, police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area following which the suspect eventually surrendered after nearly one hour of negotiations. The woman looked in a deplorable condition with bruises on her body may be as a result of resistance or beaten. She was treated at the site by paramedics
