Wanted Kuwaiti Man Held

Passport officers at the Al-Nuwaiseeb border post have taken into custody a Kuwaiti who was wanted by law in connection with 19 civil and criminal offences. The man is also charged with holding dual nationality. Police found on his person two IDs each carrying different names but the same photo.

The arrest came when the suspect arrived at the border port with a Saudi and both men refused to be searched or checked by the officials. Police records show the man was entering and leaving the country using his Saudi ID that carries a different name. The man has been charged with forging documents to obtain the Kuwaiti nationality.
