Wild Parties Camp Was Razed

A team in the Kuwait Municipality, with support from the securitymen, removed a camp in the Al-Subbiya area, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added, the camp was razed to the ground because the camp was allegedly put up without permission from the Kuwait Municipality. The Municipality had reportedly not renewed the licence of the owner of the camp because he was allegedly involved in illegal activities the previous year.

The Municipality took action after an unidentified Kuwaiti complained to the Ministry of Interior that the camp which was set up weeks ago organized illegal parties involving women and played loud music on weekends.

After the Municipality confirmed that the camp was being used to host evening parties, it sought help from the Interior Ministry to remove the camp after the owner requested time to remove all electronic appliances.
