World First Flying Car To Be Unveiled At The Avenues In Kuwait
The world’s first commercial flying vehicle plane, produced by a Dutch company called PAL-V, will be shown in Kuwait next week, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources familiar with the company.
The sources said the Dutch Embassy in Kuwait will be presenting this car to the public for the first time Monday, Nov 12 at the Avenues and on Friday and Saturday 16 and 17, which will open a new door for safe and fast driving for police, ambulance and Coast Guard.
Billed as the “world’s first flying car production model”, the Pal-V Liberty made the debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018. The hybrid vehicle has a 200-horsepower engine that can reach driving speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour (around 100 miles per hour) in nine seconds, and a maximum fl ying speed of 180 kilometers per hour (approximately 112 miles per hour).
The Dutch company confirms that it is the first commercial fl ying car to be produced on a commercial scale in the world although it looks much like a helicopter, it can also be piloted on land route
