Malabar Maholsavam

Kozhikode District NRI Association (KDNA) is fully geared up for its mega program 'Malabar Mahostavam​ 2017​' to be conducted in connection with auspicious days of National Day celebrations in Kuwait on 24 February in Abbasiya Central School open ground premises.

As part of this event there will be special competitions for Ladies keeping the high tradition. Cooking competition in the 'biriyani category' for ladies is a highlight for this mega event. . Professionals who stamped their experience in this field will be judging the competitions and prices sponsored by Grand Hyper market will be distributed for winners. Another high light of the mega program is Henna laying competition.  For winners in this category Malabar Gold and Diamond will be providing prices.All ladies residing in Kuwait are eligible to participate in these competitions. In addition, face painting competition and fancy dress are earmarked for children. The winning children will be honored with prices sponsored by I​ Black electronics. All these competitions will be conducted from 9​ ​am. The deadline for registration is 18 February. KDNA planned all these for total involvement of all and to provide them with the opportunity to showcase their talent.  'Malabar Mahostavam​ 2017​'  is designed to have fun and creativity go hand in hand and enrich the cultural fabric of the community.
