3 Egyptian Drug Peddlers Arrested

05 September 2016 Crime News

Police have arrested three Egyptians for trading in hashish. The arrests came after the police suspected the activities of one of the men and put him under surveillance. The plainclothesmen then got a warrant issued from the Public Prosecution, put the man under surveillance and caught him in the act while selling one kilo of hashish to an undercover police officer. The arrest has been audio-video documented. During interrogation the man admitted to the charge and led police to the house where he had stored three more kilos and also gave names of his accomplices – believed to be drug suppliers. Police then raided their homes and seized from them four kilos of hashish. The contraband and the traffickers have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
