85 Illegals Held In Jleeb Markets

General Department for Criminal Investigations, in cooperation with Kuwait Municipality, launched a crackdown on a number of markets in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh from where the officials arrested 85 violators of residency law. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the Public Relations and Security Media Department explained that the campaign is among a series of campaigns that the ministry has been launching in all six governorates to arrest violators of residency law.

More of such sudden inspection campaigns can be expected in the coming days. The department affirmed that a number of mechanisms and regulations are being applied to control violators and violations, indicating that the Public Security Sector and Criminal Security Sector have implemented effective procedures which enable the security systems to arrest the violators from all areas
