Bid To Burn Bank In Sabhan
The Ministry of Interior has opened an extensive investigation in an attempt to close files of arson particularly the fire in Salmiya which destroyed many cars including a Porsche, an Audi, a mini bus which were parked in an open area, reports Al-Anba daily.
The authorities say the owner of the cars is a Syrian who at the moment is not in the country. Firemen reportedly found at the site of the fire a small bottle containing inflammable (gasoline) substance.
Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry has opened an extensive investigation into the identity of an unknown person who attempted to burn a bank branch in Sabhan, reports Al-Anba daily.
The lawyer representing the bank management has submitted to the Sabah Al-Salem Police Station a report on the incident which happened on Jan 15 this year. According to the report the fire did not cause any injuries.
