Foul Play Seen In Egyptian Woman’s Death

An unidentified Egyptian woman, born in 1990, drowned in sea off Al-Sha’ab Park, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said the Hawalli police were informed of the incident following which personnel from the Medical Emergency Services rushed to the spot, fished out the corpse from the water and referred it to Forensics department.

The Al-Anba daily said, police have not ruled out foul play since the disappearance of the woman was not reported to the police by the victim’s family. The daily added, the corpse was washed ashore and it was discovered by the workers cleaning the beach.
