Department Of Removal Of Violations Issued 54 Citations And Removed 245 Violating Advertisements
Department of Removal of Violations in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality issued 54 citations and removed 245 violating advertisements in the month of June, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
In a press statement, the Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Municipality explained that the campaigns were carried out throughout the month of June as part of the media campaign titled “Contact Us” launched by Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate with the aim of removing violations such as encroachment on state properties, use of additional land space without obtaining relevant licenses and other violations.
Meanwhile, Head of Department of Removal of Violations in Mubarak Al- Kabeer Municipality Majed Al-Mutairi said citations were issued for violations related to advertisements, public hygiene and road occupancy. About 48 houses were checked to ensure they are free of violations after which electricity was supplied to them.
In addition, 96 warnings were issued during the campaigns. Meanwhile, Jahra police are looking for unidentified persons who broke into a company in Abdali and stole 216-meter cable, reports Al-Anba daily. Officers from the Criminal Evidence Department lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
