Drug Pills Seized

An Arab expatriate was arrested at a border checkpoint for attempting to smuggle about 14,000 narcotic pills into the country. According to sources, customs officers were inspecting the foodstuff that were being brought into the country via the border checkpoint when they suspected a large quantity of sugarcane that arrived from Egypt and checked it to find 13,818 narcotic pills hidden among them. They arrested the Arab expatriate who received the shipment and referred him with the confiscated narcotic pills to the concerned authorities for investigations and necessary legal action against him.
