Egyptian Arrested For Mistreating A Traffic Officer

An Egyptian was arrested for mistreating a traffic officer who stopped him due to a violation he committed, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to a security source, the officer stopped the Egyptian for committing a violation as the paint of his vehicle faded. The officer requested him to present his driving license, but he said he does not have it.

The officer then asked for his civil ID but he answered him loudly: “I swear you will not take my civil ID even if you die.” The officer requested for backup and this led to the arrest of the Egyptian. A case was registered against the Egyptian for insulting an officer on duty
