Fire Fighters Battling The Raging Blaze At The Fodder Yard Near Salmi

The huge fire that broke out at an open area used for storying fodder at km. 1 of Al-Salmi highway last night was controlled, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) announced Wednesday. Fire engines from Al-Jahra, Al-Ardiya and Al-Salmi rushed to the site and battled the fire that spread across 7,000 sq. km. No casualties or injuries were reported, said KFSD in a statement, adding that damage was only material.
