Gtd Has Arrested More Than 100 People For Driving Without Licence

According to statistics issued by the Ministry of Interior, the General Traffic Department has arrested and deported more than 100 people of various nationalities from the country for driving without licence, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The daily added, there are plans to increase the penalties for various traffic offences beginning from January 2017. The daily added, one of the offences is parking vehicles in places designated for the physically handicapped people.

According to a reliable source the fined for committing this violation is KD 10 at the moment which is expected to increase tenfold at the beginning of next year. The other increase in fines will be unveiled soon, the ministry added.
