Intensify Presence On Roads
Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham officially opened the Central Operations Control Room inside the General Administration of Traffic building after its renovation.
On an inspection tour, Lieutenant General Al-Naham was briefed on the mechanism of work in monitoring the road networks and traffic flow on the main road and intersections, as well as the mechanism of recording traffic violations through monitoring of speed cameras.
Also, he inspected departments at the General Traffic Directorate, including the departments of traffic violations, vehicle and driving licenses sections.
He urged the traffic police to intensify their presence on roads to combat any violation of traffic law and firmly stand against any action of motorists that would put other motorists and road users in danger, stressing the place of the traffic police is on the road to assist brothers and sisters during the peak hours, and to organize traffic fl ow, and most importantly, prevent reckless driving.
