Jahra Municipality Launched A Campaign To Remove Spring Camps Before Refunding Insurance Premiums

Teams from the General Cleaning and Road Works Department of Jahra Municipality launched a campaign to remove spring camps before refunding insurance premiums.

The Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Municipality Tuesday explained that the campaign resulted in demolition and removal of 45 camps and deduction of insurance from the owners of those camps for noncompliance to the administrative Decision No. 25/2016 related to organization of 2016/2017 camping season.

The demolition and removal operation saw the involvement of four half-lorries, four tippers, three trailers, four cranes and one forklift as well as 26 municipality workers.

Farwaniya emergency team, with the cooperation of officials from Ministry of Interior, launched a campaign in cafés of Ardiya Industrial Area to verify compliance of the cafes to the municipality regulations. A total of 12 cafés were inspected out of which eight were found to be in violation of the regulations in building structures, foodstuff and advertisements, and these cafés were issued with citations
