Kucs Employed 752 Bedouns By End Of 2018
Kuwait’s Union of Cooperative Societies (KUCS) announced Monday that the number of illegal residents (Bedouns) employed in the union is 752 employees by the end of 2018.
KUCS head of the committee for Media and Public Relations Salah Al-Azmi told KUNA that Saad Al-Abdullah Cooperative Society ranked first hiring 112 of illegal residents, followed by Jaber Al-Ahmad Cooperative Society, 47 employees, and Al-Naseem with 42 employees.
Al-Azmi added that Al-Andalus and Al- Raq’ei came fourth with 37 employees, Al- Jahraa, 34, and Al-Sulaibiya, 33. Al-Azmi notes number of cooperative societies employing illegal residents has reached 46.
He praised continuous cooperation between the Central Agency and the Federation, and efforts exerted to ensure success in the recruitment mechanism, adding that the directives of President Saleh Al-Fudhala urged to take such measures, in securing a job opportunity for illegal residents, especially in the cooperative sector.
