Panel On ‘bachelors’ To Halt Activities In Ramadan

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and State Minister for Municipal Affairs Fahad Al-Shu’ala revealed that the committee formed to follow up the phenomenon of bachelors living in the residential area districts and cut off power supply to the houses in violation of the relevant law will suspend its activities during the month of Ramadan and will resume its activities after Eid, reports Al-Rai daily.

Director General of Kuwait Municipality Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi declared about the launch of an app for receiving complaints from citizens concerning houses that are rented to bachelors within the vicinity of their houses. He revealed that this app allows the complainants to upload details including photograph of the violating building and other observations.
