Kuwaiti Teacher Jailed For Life For Harassing His Students

A Kuwaiti teacher has been sentenced to life in jail for abusing one of his students despite the waiver obtained by the accused from the victim's family.

The Criminal Court convicted the suspect of harassing his intermediate students after school and sending them “immoral” photos on their Snapchat accounts.

The Public Prosecution had also charged the teacher with wooing one of his intermediate class students and attempting to abuse him sexually.

The victims’ parents had submitted a waiver of their cases but the court handed down the long prison sentence to the teacher, considering that he represents a “public danger posing a threat to students”.
