Kuwaiti Woman Facing Action Over Fake Degree From Arab Country

A Kuwaiti woman is facing legal action for obtaining a fake degree from an Arab country, Jarida reported.

The Public Prosecution questioned the suspect over the alleged fake degree and then released her pending further investigation.

The woman is accused of obtaining a KD200 grant monthly from the Kuwaiti authorities to pursue her studies.

The Public Prosecution ordered the suspect to be released, pending investigation, after she had refunded more than KD7,000 she had obtained through cheating.

The case will be referred to the court on completing the inquiry.

A Kuwaiti lawyer is also under investigation for obtaining a fake law degree from an Egyptian university.
