Kuwaiti Woman Was Victim Of A Scam
:In spite of repeated warnings by the Ministry of Interior and a report being published by the Al-Anba daily a few months ago, a Kuwaiti woman was victim of a scam, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, a Kuwaiti woman has published a message through the social media (WhatsApp) warning citizens and expatriates to beware of Moroccan hackers. In her message, the woman said she received a message from a friend she knew for more than 41 years, who asked her to send 750 dinars to one of the accounts in Morocco and she did because of the close relationship between them.
The woman added that she contacted her friend after sending the money to know if she had received the money and the latter requested for more 432 dinars and she did. As she had doubts, the Kuwaiti woman then contacted another friend and was shocked to learn that the account of the other friend had been hacked and that she and other friends had received similar messages.
