Many Arrested In Nationwide Raids
Several people were arrested in an extensive security crackdown and checkpoints on illegal residents and law violators in the six governorates, the campaign also led to filing of:Â
= 253 wanted for Civil / Criminal/ absconding cases.
= 597 Illegal residents/ Expired residency.
= 77 Illegal workers/ Hawkers & Vendors
= 70 Liquor / Drugs casesÂ
= 44 Wanted by Law.
=1424 Violations.
=109 Vehicles seized.
=18 Vehicles recovered.Â
MOI called upon all Citizens and Expats to ensure that they always carry their identification papers in order to be identified by security men during an inspection.
