Mew Recorded An Increase Of Water Consumption During National Day Celebrations

The Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) recorded an increase of 15 million imperial gallons of water consumed during the National Day compared to the previous day.

According to local media report, water consumption on Feb 24, 2018 reached 370 million imperial gallons while that of Feb 25, 2018 reached 385 million imperial gallons.

Report also added that last year’s estimates showed wastage of 14 million imperial gallons of water at an estimated cost of KD140,000
