Ministry Of Finance Denies Borrowing 55bn Dollars From Domestic And External Markets
Kuwait’s Ministry of Finance has denied rumours that it had borrowed $55 billion from domestic and external markets. It called the rumours "totally false and baseless" in a statement reported. Instead, it said it was in the process of assigning funds for public debt bonds for this year. The ministry called on the media to avoid reporting inaccurate news that damage Kuwait’s national economy as well as its international image.
