Public Auction Of Impounded Cars In Mina Abdullah Area
General Traffic Department (GTD) has announced that the permanent committee for selling impounded vehicles will hold a public auction on Oct 7 to sell impounded cars from the Kuwait Public Transportation Authority in Mina Abdullah Area. In a press statement, the department will officially announce the auction on Wednesday while urging the owners of impounded vehicles to visit the committee within two weeks after the announcement to take the necessary procedures to claim their vehicles.
The department said the auction will be held at the garage for impounded vehicles, indicating all interested parties must visit the garage before the auction in order check the vehicles. And, the General Traffic Department (GTD) announced Sunday that activities at the technical inspection departments in Farwaniya and Hawalli governorates have been suspended for Saturdays because the two departments witness low turnout of visitors during the period, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added the above-stated departments will be opened for regular activities from Sunday to Thursday during official working hours, while the technical inspection department in Capital governorate will be operating throughout the week, including Saturdays.
