Security Officers Found Arms In Hidden Homes
Detectives from the General Investigations Department raided three buildings at various locations in Mubarak Al-Kabeer where they seized several firearms and bullets, while they arrested three Kuwaitis for hiding unlicensed weapons. Director for Weapons Collection Major General Farraj Al-Za’abie obtained information that some weapons were hidden in a building in Mubarak Al-Kabeer and two others in Qasour.
He quickly formed a task force team to monitor the locations until the information was verified, so they took the necessary legal procedures before raiding the buildings. During the raids, the officers found Kalashnikovs and two Shozans with a large quantity of bullets in one of the buildings. They also arrested a 21-year-old Kuwaiti in the same building. Another Kuwaiti man was caught in possession of some guns and bullets. In the third building, the officers nabbed a Kuwaiti man with unlicensed firearms. All the suspects were referred to the concerned security authority for legal procedures.
