Specialist Doctor Arrested For Wrong Diagnosis - Dr Bassel Al-sabah

The Minister of Health Dr Bassel Al-Sabah has ordered the arrest of an visiting specialist expatriate doctor working at a specialized health center in the Capital Governorate and slap a travel ban following a complaint filed by a Kuwaiti man, who is accusing the doctor of wrong diagnosis which led to the accidental death through medical error of his 13-year-old daughter, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, according to the complaint filed by the father his daughter was suffering from an allergy and after the doctor gave her the injection her health condition deteriorated and she breathed her last.

The security sources said the father has provided the security forces proof that when his daughter entered the health center for treatment of allergy, and that her condition deteriorated after she was given the injection
