Takaful Pays Debts To Free 400 Female Inmates
Chairman of the Kuwaiti Takaful Society for Prisoners Care, Dr Musaed Mandani said the Society assisted in releasing 400 female prisoners after paying their debts, reports Al-Qabas daily. Mandani said the Society wanted to help more women, but unfortunately their debt runs in thousands of dinars which is beyond the capacity of the society.
‘Challenge verdict’: Director of Investigation, Contracts and Inspection Department at the Ministry of Education, Dr Mohammed Al-Adwani has requested the Fatwa and Legislation Department to challenge the court verdict issued in favor of a company ordering the ministry to pay the company 250,000 dinars, reports Al-Rai daily. An educational source said no budget has been allocated for the ministry to settle judicial issues benefitting individuals or companies.
