Unidentified Person Arrested For Making A Hoax Call To The Operations Room Of The Moi

Police have arrested an unidentified person for making a hoax call to the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior claiming his friend has been killed inside an apartment in Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Operations Room dispatched police immediately because the caller looked hysterical and he was literally sobbing at the other end of the phone. He claimed he knocked on the door of the apartment several times but no one responded.

Police then found out the caller appeared abnormal and the caretaker said the apartments are hired on daily basis and the lessee had left the apartment. A case of hoax call and disturbing authorities have been recorded against the man.
